Sara Bynoe, the talented and charming mover-and-shaker who brought Teen Angst poetry nights to discerning Vancouverites, is back with another edition of her equally popular Say Wha?! Readings of Deliciously Rotten Writing. The monthly event features local performers putting their comedic spin on some of the most cringe-worthy, embarrassing and painfully earnest writing in print, be it Miley Cyrus’s autography Miles to Go, dating advice from frequently single Jennifer Love Hewitt or Kitsilano spa brochures. At least they didn’t mention the Courier. It all goes down Aug. 11, 8 p.m. at Cottage Bistro 4470 Main St. (at 29th Avenue).
